Stephen Moore's big ride
I am aiming to raise money for the Amy Gillett Foundation by participating in the Big Canberra Bike Ride on Sunday March 5th 2017 and I would welcome any contribution, great or small!
As you know I love to ride my bike. I am passionate about helping the Amy Gillett Foundation create a safer environment for all bicycle riders and help improve traffic flow for all road users. Did you know that 48 people were killed in 2015 and 9,307 bike riders were seriously injured in Australia?
I am taking part in the fundraising challenge leading up to the the Big Canberra Bike Ride on Sunday March 5 2017, to help the AGF raise at least $25,000 to invest in program initiatives to create a safer environment for riding.
Any contribution you can make will help the AGF achieve its vision of zero bike rider fatalities.

Amy Gillett Foundation
The Amy Gillett Foundation (AGF) began its work in 2006 in the name of Amy Gillett, who was tragically killed as a result of being hit by a motorist whilst cycling with the Australian Women’s Road cycling team in Germany in 2005. The Amy Gillett Foundation's vision is for safe bicycling throughout Australia in order to achieve the ultimate target of zero bicycling fatalities. The Foundation promotes a safe and harmonious relationship of shared respect between bicyclists and motorists – to highlight the importance of being responsible every time we head out on the road whether we're on two wheels or on four. Why? Because everyone deserves to arrive at their destination safely irrespective of their chosen mode of transport.read more
