Subaru’s partnership with the Amy Gillett Foundation is integral to promoting the key message of safety for every road user. While known for their driver safety standards, the fact is, many Subaru drivers are also cyclists, both are pedestrians and all are vulnerable road users. Subaru's objective is to support the Foundation in further amplifying the message of safety when sharing of our roads.
Subaru’s participation in the Big Canberra Bike Ride is just one way of helping facilitate a greater awareness of the Foundation’s work and its road safety message.

Event Suppliers


Cycle City have been a long-term supporter of Pedal Power ACT events and activities and we welcome their involvement in the 2017 Big Canberra Bike Ride.

The team from Cycle City will be on hand in the event village to sort out any last minute mechanicals before the start. Once the ride is underway, they will head out onto the course to help.



Stromlo Forest Park is a world-class multi-use, recreational sporting facility available to both recreational and professional users. 


Stromlo Forest Park boasts a purpose built event pavilion, criterium cycling circuit, grass cross country running track, equestrian tracks and mountain bike tracks to suit any level of rider.


Stromlo Forest Park also has various trails suitable for, runners and walkers keen on exploring the Canberra countryside and is looking forward to again being involved in helping the Big Canberra Bike Ride 2017.
