Cycle City have been a long-term supporter of Pedal Power ACT events and activities and we welcome their involvement in the 2017 Big Canberra Bike Ride.
The team from Cycle City will be on hand in the event village to sort out any last minute mechanicals before the start. Once the ride is underway, they will head out onto the course to help.

Stromlo Forest Park boasts a purpose built event pavilion, criterium cycling circuit, grass cross country running track, equestrian tracks and mountain bike tracks to suit any level of rider.
Stromlo Forest Park also has various trails suitable for, runners and walkers keen on exploring the Canberra countryside and is looking forward to again being involved in helping the Big Canberra Bike Ride 2017.
1954 was the year Englishman Sir Roger Bannister broke the four minute mile. This highlighted a new athletic achievement in human endeavors and performance. From there New Zealander John Walker went on to become the first man in history to run 100 Sub4 minute miles.
